How does the Speed Dating Event work?

Firstly select an event you wish to attend and either book on-line (via our secure server) or telephone our offices on 01527 877677 with your credit/debit card details. You will be sent a confirmation with a registration time/ start time and a map and details of your chosen venue. Please ensure that you allow yourself plenty of time to travel to the venue as it is unfair on other guests to delay the event starting.

You arrive at the venue and are welcomed by one of our friendly hosts or hostesses who will ensure that you are registered correctly and encourage you to have a drink in the bar prior to the start. If you are travelling alone we will endeavour to introduce you to other guests prior to the event starting, or please feel free to bring a friend for moral support, some people do, or why not encourage single friends to take part too?

Everyone will receive a welcome pack with a badge, scorecard, branded pen and instructions. There are details of how we relay your ‘results’ to you after the event on the reverse of your scorecard. We will also ask that you complete a confidential client profile form which we use for our own marketing purposes and allows us to include you on our mailing list, it is important that we gain as much feedback from all our guests as possible to allow us to structure future events as per our clients responses. PLEASE ensure that you read all the instructions and familiarise yourself with the scorecard prior to the event starting.

Our hosts and hostesses will escort you into the speed dating room.

All the ladies will be seated at numbered tables and each gentleman will travel around the room from table to table when a bell rings. Each party discreetly marks their scorecard to indicate whether you would like to see that person again.

Half way through we will break and encourage people to have a mix and mingle period in the bar to relax and chat to new friends

After approximately 15 - 30 minutes we will ask that you return to the speed dating room and proceed with the remaining dates of the night until all the couples have met.

During the speed dating event we ask you NOT to ask anybody for their personal details i.e. telephone number, address or details of their scorecard. Please remember this is rejection free dating and you will be informed of your ‘results’ the following day.

After a fun packed evening, hand your completed score card into one of your hosts and leave the rest to us!

Please inform us if you are a lady travelling alone and we will ensure that you are safely escorted to your car, where practical
